M-alternating Hamilton paths and M-alternating Hamilton cycles
We study M-alternating Hamilton paths, and M-alternating Hamilton cycles in a simple connected graph G on ν vertices with a perfect matchingM . Let G be a bipartite graph, we prove that if for any two vertices x and y in different parts of G, d(x)+d(y) ≥ ν/2+2, then G has an M-alternating Hamilton cycle. For general graphs, a condition for the existence of an M-alternating Hamilton path startin...
متن کاملDistinguishing number and distinguishing index of natural and fractional powers of graphs
The distinguishing number (resp. index) $D(G)$ ($D'(G)$) of a graph $G$ is the least integer $d$ such that $G$ has an vertex labeling (resp. edge labeling) with $d$ labels that is preserved only by a trivial automorphism. For any $n in mathbb{N}$, the $n$-subdivision of $G$ is a simple graph $G^{frac{1}{n}}$ which is constructed by replacing each edge of $G$ with a path of length $n$...
متن کاملCERTAIN TYPES OF EDGE m-POLAR FUZZY GRAPHS
In this research paper, we present a novel frame work for handling $m$-polar information by combining the theory of $m-$polar fuzzy sets with graphs. We introduce certain types of edge regular $m-$polar fuzzy graphs and edge irregular $m-$polar fuzzy graphs. We describe some useful properties of edge regular, strongly edge irregular and strongly edge totally irregular $m-$polar fuzzy graphs. W...
متن کاملPanconnectivity, fault-tolerant hamiltonicity and hamiltonian-connectivity in alternating group graphs
Jwo et al. [Networks 23 (1993) 315–326] introduced the alternating group graph as an interconnection network topology for computing systems. They showed that the proposed structure has many advantages over n-cubes and star graphs. For example, all alternating group graphs are hamiltonian-connected (i.e., every pair of vertices in the graph are connected by a hamiltonian path) and pancyclic (i.e...
متن کاملA CHARACTERIZATION FOR METRIC TWO-DIMENSIONAL GRAPHS AND THEIR ENUMERATION
The textit{metric dimension} of a connected graph $G$ is the minimum number of vertices in a subset $B$ of $G$ such that all other vertices are uniquely determined by their distances to the vertices in $B$. In this case, $B$ is called a textit{metric basis} for $G$. The textit{basic distance} of a metric two dimensional graph $G$ is the distance between the elements of $B$. Givi...
